O God, {\i thou art} terrible out of thy holy places:\par\tab The God of Israel, he giveth strength and power unto {\i his} people.\par\tab Blessed be God.\par
By terrible things thou wilt answer us in righteousness,\par\tab O God of our salvation,\par\tab Thou that art the confidence of all the ends of the earth,\par\tab And of them that are afar off upon the sea:
and said, I beseech thee, O Jehovah, the God of heaven, the great and terrible God, that keepeth covenant and lovingkindness with them that love him and keep his commandments:
Declare ye, and bring {\i it} forth; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath showed this from ancient time? who hath declared it of old? have not I, Jehovah? and there is no God else besides me, a just God and a Saviour; there is none besides me.
but they that wait for Jehovah shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint.\par
And in thy majesty ride on prosperously,\par\tab Because of truth and meekness {\i and} righteousness:\par\tab And thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.
Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto Jehovah, and spake, saying, I will sing unto Jehovah, for he hath triumphed gloriously: The horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.
