Who stilleth the roaring of the seas,\par\tab The roaring of their waves,\par\tab And the tumult of the peoples.
Thou rulest the pride of the sea:\par\tab When the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them.
When therefore he said unto them, {\cf6 I am {\i he},} they went backward, and fell to the ground.
He maketh the storm a calm,\par\tab So that the waves thereof are still.
Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee:\par\tab The residue of wrath shalt thou gird upon thee.
So they took up Jonah, and cast him forth into the sea; and the sea ceased from its raging.
But Jehovah sent out a great wind upon the sea, and there was a mighty tempest on the sea, so that the ship was like to be broken.
Forget not the voice of thine adversaries:\par\tab The tumult of those that rise up against thee ascendeth continually.\par
Jehovah reigneth;\par\tab He is clothed with majesty;\par\tab Jehovah is clothed with strength; he hath girded himself therewith:\par\tab The world also is established, that it cannot be moved.
He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and by his understanding hath he stretched out the heavens.
Pilate answered, What I have written I have written.\par
And when he had thus spoken, he dismissed the assembly.\par
