All they that see me laugh me to scorn:\par\tab They shoot out the lip, they shake the head, {\i saying},

Thine own mouth condemneth thee, and not I;\par\tab Yea, thine own lips testify against thee.\par

standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Woe, woe, the great city, Babylon, the strong city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.

And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come forth, my people, out of her, that ye have no fellowship with her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues:

{\i For} the sin of their mouth, {\i and} the words of their lips,\par\tab Let them even be taken in their pride,\par\tab And for cursing and lying which they speak.

The righteous also shall see {\i it}, and fear,\par\tab And shall laugh at him, {\i saying},

When mine enemies turn back,\par\tab They stumble and perish at thy presence.

And all Israel that were round about them fled at the cry of them; for they said, Lest the earth swallow us up.

Cast forth lightning, and scatter them;\par\tab Send out thine arrows, and discomfit them.
