For his anger is but for a moment;\par\tab His favor is for a life-time:\par\tab Weeping may tarry for the night,\par\tab But joy {\i cometh} in the morning.
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, {\i which is} your spiritual service.
I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye presented your members {\i as} servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity, even so now present your members {\i as} servants to righteousness unto sanctification.
Take with you words, and return unto Jehovah: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and accept that which is good: so will we render {\i as} bullocks {\i the offering of} our lips.
Beloved, now are we children of God, and it is not yet made manifest what we shall be. We know that, if he shall be manifested, we shall be like him; for we shall see him even as he is.
