Thou wilt prolong the king's life;\par\tab His years shall be as many generations.
He asked life of thee, thou gavest it him,\par\tab Even length of days for ever and ever.
For thou makest him most blessed for ever:\par\tab Thou makest him glad with joy in thy presence.
Yet it pleased Jehovah to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see {\i his} seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of Jehovah shall prosper in his hand.
Jehovah is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup:\par\tab Thou maintainest my lot.
The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places;\par\tab Yea, I have a goodly heritage.
