Better is a little that the righteous hath\par\tab Than the abundance of many wicked.
Better is a little, with righteousness,\par\tab Than great revenues with injustice.
But godliness with contentment is great gain:
The righteous eateth to the satisfying of his soul;\par\tab But the belly of the wicked shall want.\par
The curse of Jehovah is in the house of the wicked;\par\tab But he blesseth the habitation of the righteous.

For to the man that pleaseth him {\i God} giveth wisdom, and knowledge, and joy; but to the sinner he giveth travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him that pleaseth God. This also is vanity and a striving after wind.\par
Lest I be full, and deny {\i thee}, and say, Who is Jehovah?\par\tab Or lest I be poor, and steal,\par\tab And use profanely the name of my God.\par
