{\b A Psalm of Asaph.}\par\par\tab O God, the nations are come into thine inheritance;\par\tab Thy holy temple have they defiled;\par\tab They have laid Jerusalem in heaps.
But I am poor and needy;\par\tab {\i Yet} the Lord thinketh upon me:\par\tab Thou art my help and my deliverer;\par\tab Make no tarrying, O my God.\par
And why dost thou not pardon my transgression, and take away mine iniquity?\par\tab For now shall I lie down in the dust;\par\tab And thou wilt seek me diligently, but I shall not be.\par
God, my rock, in him will I take refuge; My shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge; My saviour, thou savest me from violence.
