If thou set thy heart aright,\par\tab And stretch out thy hands toward him;

Mine eye wasteth away by reason of affliction:\par\tab I have called daily upon thee, O Jehovah;\par\tab I have spread forth my hands unto thee.

My tears have been my food day and night,\par\tab While they continually say unto me, Where is thy God?

Wilt thou show wonders to the dead?\par\tab Shall they that are deceased arise and praise thee? {\i Selah
