And now for a little moment grace hath been showed from Jehovah our God, to leave us a remnant to escape, and to give us a nail in his holy place, that our God may lighten our eyes, and give us a little reviving in our bondage.

For thou wilt light my lamp:\par\tab Jehovah my God will lighten my darkness.

When they are heated, I will make their feast, and I will make them drunken, that they may rejoice, and sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, saith Jehovah.

But Jonathan heard not when his father charged the people with the oath: wherefore he put forth the end of the rod that was in his hand, and dipped it in the honeycomb, and put his hand to his mouth; and his eyes were enlightened.

Wherefore {\i he} saith, Awake, thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall shine upon thee.\par

Remember, O Jehovah, what is come upon us:\par\tab Behold, and see our reproach.

And I will make drunk her princes and her wise men, her governors and her deputies, and her mighty men; and they shall sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, saith the King, whose name is Jehovah of hosts.

{\b RESH.}\par\par\tab Consider mine affliction, and deliver me;\par\tab For I do not forget thy law.

I will be glad and rejoice in thy lovingkindness;\par\tab For thou hast seen my affliction:\par\tab Thou hast known my soul in adversities;

Consider mine enemies, for they are many;\par\tab And they hate me with cruel hatred.

Have mercy upon me, O Jehovah;\par\tab Behold my affliction {\i which I suffer} of them that hate me,\par\tab Thou that liftest me up from the gates of death;

And the city hath no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine upon it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the lamp thereof {\i is} the Lamb.

{\b A light for revelation to the Gentiles,}\par\tab And the glory of thy people Israel.
