But ye are an elect race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for {\i God's} own possession, that ye may show forth the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
Ye did not choose me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that ye should go and bear fruit, and {\i that} your fruit should abide: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
That I may see the prosperity of thy chosen,\par\tab That I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation,\par\tab That I may glory with thine inheritance.
Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.
