But if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord tarrieth;

Come ye, {\i say they}, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to-morrow shall be as this day, {\i a day} great beyond measure.\par

Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.

How much soever she glorified herself, and waxed wanton, so much give her of torment and mourning: for she saith in her heart, {\b I sit a queen, and am no widow,} and shall in no wise see mourning.
