Now therefore, {\i my} sons, hearken unto me;\par\tab For blessed are they that keep my ways.

{\b A Song of Ascents.}\par\par\tab Blessed is every one that feareth Jehovah,\par\tab That walketh in his ways.

For I have kept the ways of Jehovah, And have not wickedly departed from my God.

Destruction and Death say,\par\tab We have heard a rumor thereof with our ears.\par

Happy is the man that findeth wisdom,\par\tab And the man that getteth understanding.

Where there is no vision, the people cast off restraint;\par\tab But he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
