Provideth her bread in the summer,\par\tab And gathereth her food in the harvest.

He that gathereth in summer is a wise son;\par\tab {\i But} he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame.

laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on the life which is {\i life} indeed.\par

The ants are a people not strong,\par\tab Yet they provide their food in the summer;

How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard?\par\tab When wilt thou arise out of thy sleep?

And {\i there will be} goats' milk enough for thy food, for the food of thy household,\par\tab And maintenance for thy maidens.\par
