When thou walkest, it shall lead thee;\par\tab When thou sleepest, it shall watch over thee;\par\tab And when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee.

Discretion shall watch over thee;\par\tab Understanding shall keep thee:

Thy word have I laid up in my heart,\par\tab That I might not sin against thee.

Mine eyes anticipated the night-watches,\par\tab That I might meditate on thy word.

{\b BETH.}\par\par\tab Wherewith shall a young man cleanse his way?\par\tab By taking heed {\i thereto} according to thy word.

Thy statutes have been my songs\par\tab In the house of my pilgrimage.
