An angry man stirreth up strife,\par\tab And a wrathful man aboundeth in transgression.
A wrathful man stirreth up contention;\par\tab But he that is slow to anger appeaseth strife.
He loveth transgression that loveth strife:\par\tab He that raiseth high his gate seeketh destruction.
{\i As} coals are to hot embers, and wood to fire,\par\tab So is a contentious man to inflame strife.
Hatred stirreth up strifes;\par\tab But love covereth all transgressions.
For where jealousy and faction are, there is confusion and every vile deed.
Make no friendship with a man that is given to anger;\par\tab And with a wrathful man thou shalt not go:
He that is soon angry will deal foolishly;\par\tab And a man of wicked devices is hated.
For the churning of milk bringeth forth butter,\par\tab And the wringing of the nose bringeth forth blood;\par\tab So the forcing of wrath bringeth forth strife.\par
He that delicately bringeth up his servant from a child\par\tab Shall have him become a son at the last.
Cursed be their anger, for it was fierce; And their wrath, for it was cruel: I will divide them in Jacob, And scatter them in Israel.
