A servant will not be corrected by words;\par\tab For though he understand, he will not give heed.

A whip for the horse, a bridle for the ass,\par\tab And a rod for the back of fools.

I call unto my servant, and he giveth me no answer,\par\tab {\i Though} I entreat him with my mouth.

For a servant when he is king;\par\tab And a fool when he is filled with food;

Where there is no vision, the people cast off restraint;\par\tab But he that keepeth the law, happy is he.

Seest thou a man that is hasty in his words?\par\tab There is more hope of a fool than of him.
