And he spake three thousand proverbs; and his songs were a thousand and five.

The word of Jehovah that came to Micah the Morashtite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.\par

The word of Jehovah that came unto Hosea the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel.\par

And further, because the Preacher was wise, he still taught the people knowledge; yea, he pondered, and sought out, {\i and} set in order many proverbs.

So shall thy poverty come as a robber,\par\tab And thy want as an armed man.\par
