So shall thy poverty come as a robber,\par\tab And thy want as an armed man.\par

He becometh poor that worketh with a slack hand;\par\tab But the hand of the diligent maketh rich.

The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing;\par\tab But the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.

So shall thy poverty come as a robber,\par\tab And thy want as an armed man.

{\i Yet} a little sleep, a little slumber,\par\tab A little folding of the hands to sleep;
