For there shall be no reward to the evil man;\par\tab The lamp of the wicked shall be put out.
The light of the righteous rejoiceth;\par\tab But the lamp of the wicked shall be put out.
Whoso curseth his father or his mother,\par\tab His lamp shall be put out in blackness of darkness.
Upon the wicked he will rain snares;\par\tab Fire and brimstone and burning wind shall be the portion of their cup.

A high look, and a proud heart,\par\tab {\i Even} the lamp of the wicked, is sin.
For they shall soon be cut down like the grass,\par\tab And wither as the green herb.
