Have not I written unto thee excellent things\par\tab Of counsels and knowledge,

Hear, for I will speak excellent things;\par\tab And the opening of my lips shall be right things.

I wrote for him the ten thousand things of my law; but they are counted as a strange thing.

The words of Jehovah are pure words;\par\tab As silver tried in a furnace on the earth,\par\tab Purified seven times.

The Preacher sought to find out acceptable words, and that which was written uprightly, {\i even} words of truth.\par
