Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ: that, whether I come and see you or be absent, I may hear of your state, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one soul striving for the faith of the gospel;

I therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, beseech you to walk worthily of the calling wherewith ye were called,

Now I beseech you, brethren, through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and {\i that} there be no divisions among you; but {\i that} ye be perfected together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for these things, give diligence that ye may be found in peace, without spot and blameless in his sight.

to walk worthily of the Lord unto all pleasing, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

Beloved, while I was giving all diligence to write unto you of our common salvation, I was constrained to write unto you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered unto the saints.

Finally then, brethren, we beseech and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that, as ye received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, even as ye do walk,—that ye abound more and more.

So then, my beloved, even as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;

For many walk, of whom I told you often, and now tell you even weeping, {\i that they are} the enemies of the cross of Christ:

Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfected; be comforted; be of the same mind; live in peace: and the God of love and peace shall be with you.

And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and soul: and not one {\i of them} said that aught of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.

and I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them:

Seeing that these things are thus all to be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in {\i all} holy living and godliness,

Wherefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not vain in the Lord.\par

For I am not ashamed of the gospel: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

And {\i the} fruit of righteousness is sown in peace for them that make peace.\par

hearing of thy love, and of the faith which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all the saints;

not purloining, but showing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith:

holding faith and a good conscience; which some having thrust from them made shipwreck concerning the faith:

according to the gospel of the glory of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.\par

And day by day, continuing stedfastly with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread at home, they took their food with gladness and singleness of heart,

And knowing their thoughts he said unto them, {\cf6 Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:

For Jehovah will plead their cause,\par\tab And despoil of life those that despoil them.

But when Timothy came even now unto us from you, and brought us glad tidings of your faith and love, and that ye have good remembrance of us always, longing to see us, even as we also {\i to see} you;

having heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have toward all the saints,

but I trust in the Lord that I myself also shall come shortly.

For this cause I also, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which is among you, and the love which {\i ye show} toward all the saints,

in whom ye also, having heard the word of the truth, the gospel of your salvation,—in whom, having also believed, ye were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,

which is not another {\i gospel}: only there are some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

seeing that through the proving {\i of you} by this ministration they glorify God for the obedience of your confession unto the gospel of Christ, and for the liberality of {\i your} contribution unto them and unto all;

in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn {\i upon them}.

And I know that, when I come unto you, I shall come in the fulness of the blessing of Christ.\par

that I should be a minister of Christ Jesus unto the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be made acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

But what saith it? {\b The word is nigh thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart}: that is, the word of faith, which we preach:

For God is my witness, whom I serve in my spirit in the gospel of his Son, how unceasingly I make mention of you, always in my prayers

through whom we received grace and apostleship, unto obedience of faith among all the nations, for his name's sake;

But after certain days, Felix came with Drusilla, his wife, who was a Jewess, and sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Christ Jesus.

Jerusalem, that art builded\par\tab As a city that is compact together;

for your fellowship in furtherance of the gospel from the first day until now;

For our citizenship is in heaven; whence also we wait for a Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

Wherefore, my brethren beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my beloved.\par

And he said, If the Syrians be too strong for me, then thou shalt help me; but if the children of Ammon be too strong for thee, then I will help thee.
