We are not again commending ourselves unto you, but {\i speak} as giving you occasion of glorying on our behalf, that ye may have wherewith to answer them that glory in appearance, and not in heart.
But I rejoice in the Lord greatly, that now at length ye have revived your thought for me; wherein ye did indeed take thought, but ye lacked opportunity.
I am come into my garden, my sister, {\i my} bride:\par\tab I have gathered my myrrh with my spice;\par\tab I have eaten my honeycomb with my honey;\par\tab I have drunk my wine with my milk.\par\tab Eat, O friends;\par\tab Drink, yea, drink abundantly, O beloved.
Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying on your behalf: I am filled with comfort, I overflow with joy in all our affliction.\par
For if in anything I have gloried to him on your behalf, I was not put to shame; but as we spake all things to you in truth, so our glorying also which I made before Titus was found to be truth.
