according to my earnest expectation and hope, that in nothing shall I be put to shame, but {\i that} with all boldness, as always, {\i so} now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether by life, or by death.

and is divided. {\i So} also the woman that is unmarried and the virgin is careful for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married is careful for the things of the world, how she may please her husband.

For the Lord Jehovah will help me; therefore have I not been confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be put to shame.

Uphold me according unto thy word, that I may live;\par\tab And let me not be ashamed of my hope.

and hope putteth not to shame; because the love of God hath been shed abroad in our hearts through the Holy Spirit which was given unto us.

and he died for all, that they that live should no longer live unto themselves, but unto him who for their sakes died and rose again.

I protest by that glorying in you, brethren, which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.

I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye presented your members {\i as} servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity, even so now present your members {\i as} servants to righteousness unto sanctification.

neither present your members unto sin {\i as} instruments of unrighteousness; but present yourselves unto God, as alive from the dead, and your members {\i as} instruments of righteousness unto God.

Then Paul answered, What do ye, weeping and breaking my heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.

But I hold not my life of any account as dear unto myself, so that I may accomplish my course, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

Now this he spake, signifying by what manner of death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, {\cf6 Follow me.}

For surely there is a reward;\par\tab And thy hope shall not be cut off.

The hope of the righteous {\i shall be} gladness;\par\tab But the expectation of the wicked shall perish.

Let my heart be perfect in thy statutes,\par\tab That I be not put to shame.\par

My soul, wait thou in silence for God only;\par\tab For my expectation is from him.

O my God, in thee have I trusted,\par\tab Let me not be put to shame;\par\tab Let not mine enemies triumph over me.

And when they had prayed, the place was shaken wherein they were gathered together; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spake the word of God with boldness.\par

Having therefore such a hope, we use great boldness of speech,

Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying on your behalf: I am filled with comfort, I overflow with joy in all our affliction.\par
