And one of them, a lawyer, asked him a question, trying him:
But the Pharisees and the lawyers rejected for themselves the counsel of God, being not baptized of him.
And Jesus answering spake unto the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, {\cf6 Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath, or not?}
Woe unto you lawyers! for ye took away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered.}\par
Set forward Zenas the lawyer and Apollos on their journey diligently, that nothing be wanting unto them.
But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, {\cf6 Why make ye trial of me, ye hypocrites?
And there came unto him Pharisees, and asked him, Is it lawful for a man to put away {\i his} wife? trying him.
Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?
And this they said, trying him, that they might have {\i whereof} to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground.
