And when they were come in, they went up into the upper chamber, where they were abiding; both Peter and John and James and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James {\i the son} of Alph\'e6us, and Simon the Zealot, and Judas {\i the son} of James.
And as he passed by, he saw Levi the {\i son} of Alph\'e6us sitting at the place of toll, and he saith unto him, {\cf6 Follow me.} And he arose and followed him.\par
And as Jesus passed by from thence, he saw a man, called Matthew, sitting at the place of toll: and he saith unto him, Follow me. And he arose, and followed him.\par
There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the {\i sons} of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples.
and when they perceived the grace that was given unto me, James and Cephas and John, they who were reputed to be pillars, gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship, that we should go unto the Gentiles, and they unto the circumcision;
But he, beckoning unto them with the hand to hold their peace, declared unto them how the Lord had brought him forth out of the prison. And he said, Tell these things unto James, and to the brethren. And he departed, and went to another place.
Jesus saith unto him, {\cf6 Have I been so long time with you, and dost thou not know me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; how sayest thou, Show us the Father?
And if he refuse to hear them, tell it unto the church: and if he refuse to hear the church also, let him be unto thee as the Gentile and the publican.
And there were also women beholding from afar: among whom {\i were} both Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the less and of Joses, and Salome;
The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as the rest of men, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
But the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote his breast, saying, God, be thou merciful to me a sinner.
Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, {\cf6 Before Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee.}
