And those are they that were sown upon the good ground; such as hear the word, and accept it, and bear fruit, thirtyfold, and sixtyfold, and a hundredfold.}\par
And that in the good ground, these are such as in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, hold it fast, and bring forth fruit with patience.\par
And he that was sown upon the good ground, this is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; who verily beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.}\par
Wherefore, my brethren, ye also were made dead to the law through the body of Christ; that ye should be joined to another, {\i even} to him who was raised from the dead, that we might bring forth fruit unto God.
Ye did not choose me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that ye should go and bear fruit, and {\i that} your fruit should abide: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
Finally then, brethren, we beseech and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that, as ye received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, even as ye do walk,—that ye abound more and more.
