saying, {\cf6 The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and the third day be raised up.}
Jesus answered him, {\cf6 Thou wouldest have no power against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath greater sin.}
But these things have I spoken unto you, that when their hour is come, ye may remember them, how that I told you. And these things I said not unto you from the beginning, because I was with you.
And he said unto them, {\cf6 These are my words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must needs be fulfilled, which are written in the law of Moses, and the prophets, and the psalms, concerning me.}
And he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, {\cf6 Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all the things that are written through the prophets shall be accomplished unto the Son of man.
For he taught his disciples, and said unto them, {\cf6 The Son of man is delivered up into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and when he is killed, after three days he shall rise again.}
And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders, and the chief priests, and the scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.
From that time began Jesus to show unto his disciples, that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and the third day be raised up.
And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let us fall now into the hand of Jehovah; for his mercies are great; and let me not fall into the hand of man.
