And he came out, and went, as his custom was, unto the mount of Olives; and the disciples also followed him.

And every evening they went forth out of the city.\par

In that hour said Jesus to the multitudes, {\cf6 Are ye come out as against a robber with swords and staves to seize me? I sat daily in the temple teaching, and ye took me not.

And he left them, and went forth out of the city to Bethany, and lodged there.\par

And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and came unto Bethphage, unto the mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples,

Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is nigh unto Jerusalem, a sabbath day's journey off.

Jesus therefore six days before the passover came to Bethany, where Lazarus was, whom Jesus raised from the dead.

And as he was now drawing nigh, {\i even} at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works which they had seen;

And on the morrow, when they were come out from Bethany, he hungered.

And when they had sung a hymn, they went out unto the mount of Olives.\par

And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east; and the mount of Olives shall be cleft in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, {\i and there shall be} a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

I was daily with you in the temple teaching, and ye took me not: but {\i this is done} that the scriptures might be fulfilled.}

And it came to pass, when he drew nigh unto Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount that is called Olivet, he sent two of the disciples,

And he was teaching daily in the temple. But the chief priests and the scribes and the principal men of the people sought to destroy him:

Now Judas also, who betrayed him, knew the place: for Jesus oft-times resorted thither with his disciples.
