who are Israelites; whose is the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service {\i of God}, and the promises;

or {\b who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again?}
but when this thy son came, who hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou killedst for him the fatted calf.
But it was meet to make merry and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive {\i again}; and {\i was} lost, and is found.}\par
And the bondservant abideth not in the house for ever: the son abideth for ever.
