Or if any one touch any unclean thing, whether it be the carcass of an unclean beast, or the carcass of unclean cattle, or the carcass of unclean creeping things, and it be hidden from him, and he be unclean, then he shall be guilty.

and have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them;

Be not ye therefore partakers with them;

Wherefore\par\tab {\b Come ye out from among them, and be ye separate,} saith the Lord,\par\tab {\b And touch no unclean thing};\par\tab And I will receive you,

But food will not commend us to God: neither, if we eat not, are we the worse; nor, if we eat, are we the better.

It is good not to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor {\i to do anything} whereby thy brother stumbleth.

that ye abstain from things sacrificed to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication; from which if ye keep yourselves, it shall be well with you. Fare ye well.\par

and he said unto them, Ye yourselves know how it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to join himself or come unto one of another nation; and {\i yet} unto me hath God showed that I should not call any man common or unclean:

And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Perceive ye not, that whatsoever from without goeth into the man, {\i it} cannot defile him;

there is nothing from without the man, that going into him can defile him; but the things which proceed out of the man are what defile the man.

and had seen that some of his disciples ate their bread with defiled, that is, unwashen, hands.

these are the things which defile the man; but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not the man.}\par

Not that which entereth into the mouth defileth the man; but that which proceedeth out of the mouth, this defileth the man.}

And the swine, because he parteth the hoof, and is clovenfooted, but cheweth not the cud, he is unclean unto you.

These may ye eat of all that are in the waters: whatsoever hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, that may ye eat.
