And the woman bare a son, and called his name Samson: and the child grew, and Jehovah blessed him.

And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, and was in the deserts till the day of his showing unto Israel.\par

And Samuel grew, and Jehovah was with him, and did let none of his words fall to the ground.

And what shall I more say? for the time will fail me if I tell of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah; of David and Samuel and the prophets:

And Jesus advanced in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.\par

And Jehovah visited Hannah, and she conceived, and bare three sons and two daughters. And the child Samuel grew before Jehovah.

And the child Samuel grew on, and increased in favor both with Jehovah, and also with men.
