And there was much murmuring among the multitudes concerning him: some said, He is a good man; others said, Not so, but he leadeth the multitude astray.

Some therefore of the Pharisees said, This man is not from God, because he keepeth not the sabbath. But others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such signs? And there was a division among them.

The Pharisees therefore answered them, Are ye also led astray?

The Pharisees heard the multitude murmuring these things concerning him; and the chief priests and the Pharisees sent officers to take him.

Do all things without murmurings and questionings:

For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: for peradventure for the good man some one would even dare to die.

for he was a good man, and full of the Holy Spirit and of faith: and much people was added unto the Lord.

They answered and said unto him, Art thou also of Galilee? Search, and see that out of Galilee ariseth no prophet.\par

When therefore the people saw the sign which he did, they said, This is of a truth the prophet that cometh into the world.\par

And behold, a man named Joseph, who was a councillor, a good and righteous man

And when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous man.

And Jesus said unto him, {\cf6 Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, {\i even} God.

And fear took hold on all: and they glorified God, saying, A great prophet is arisen among us: and, God hath visited his people.

The good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and the evil {\i man} out of the evil {\i treasure} bringeth forth that which is evil: for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.\par

saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said while he was yet alive, After three days I rise again.

And when they sought to lay hold on him, they feared the multitudes, because they took him for a prophet.\par

It is enough for the disciple that he be as his teacher, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebul, how much more them of his household!
