Pilate saith unto him, What is truth?\par\par\tab And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find no crime in him.
When therefore the chief priests and the officers saw him, they cried out, saying, Crucify {\i him}, crucify {\i him}! Pilate saith unto them, Take him yourselves, and crucify him: for I find no crime in him.
So when Pilate saw that he prevailed nothing, but rather that a tumult was arising, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of this blood; see ye {\i to it}.
