Upon this Pilate sought to release him: but the Jews cried out, saying, If thou release this man, thou art not C\'e6sar's friend: every one that maketh himself a king speaketh against C\'e6sar.
Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, {\cf6 Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end have I been born, and to this end am I come into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.}
took the branches of the palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried out, Hosanna: {\b Blessed {\i is} he that cometh in the name of the Lord,} even the King of Israel.
Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy king cometh unto thee; he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, even upon a colt the foal of an ass.
Jehovah hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the King of Israel, even Jehovah, is in the midst of thee; thou shalt not fear evil any more.
Behold, the days come, saith Jehovah, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and he shall reign as king and deal wisely, and shall execute justice and righteousness in the land.
And they began to accuse him, saying, We found this man perverting our nation, and forbidding to give tribute to C\'e6sar, and saying that he himself is Christ a king.
Pilate saith unto him, What is truth?\par\par\tab And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find no crime in him.
