And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.\par

Wherefore I make known unto you, that no man speaking in the Spirit of God saith, Jesus is anathema; and no man can say, Jesus is Lord, but in the Holy Spirit.\par

And when she had said this, she went away, and called Mary her sister secretly, saying, The Teacher is here, and calleth thee.

even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.}

And it was that Mary who anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.

The sisters therefore sent unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick.

And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, and forbear threatening: knowing that he who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no respect of persons with him.\par
