Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the tomb. Now it was a cave, and a stone lay against it.

When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews {\i also} weeping who came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled,

and laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock: and he rolled a great stone to the door of the tomb, and departed.

Now on the first {\i day} of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, while it was yet dark, unto the tomb, and seeth the stone taken away from the tomb.

And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb.

What doest thou here? and whom has thou here, that thou hast hewed thee out here a sepulchre? hewing him out a sepulchre on high, graving a habitation for himself in the rock!

And after this, Abraham buried Sarah his wife in the cave of the field of Machpelah before Mamre (the same is Hebron), in the land of Canaan.

And he bought a linen cloth, and taking him down, wound him in the linen cloth, and laid him in a tomb which had been hewn out of a rock; and he rolled a stone against the door of the tomb.

And he sighed deeply in his spirit, and saith, {\cf6 Why doth this generation seek a sign? verily I say unto you, There shall no sign be given unto this generation.}

So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone, the guard being with them.\par

Sigh therefore, thou son of man; with the breaking of thy loins and with bitterness shalt thou sigh before their eyes.

And Jehovah said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry over all the abominations that are done in the midst thereof.
