And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness; He who was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the spirit, Seen of angels, Preached among the nations, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory.\par
who being the effulgence of his glory, and the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had made purification of sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
I am the living bread which came down out of heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: yea and the bread which I will give is my flesh, for the life of the world.}\par
For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
For many deceivers are gone forth into the world, {\i even} they that confess not that Jesus Christ cometh in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist.
For he grew up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
And I heard a great voice out of the throne saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he shall dwell with them, and they shall be his peoples, and God himself shall be with them:
So Christ also glorified not himself to be made a high priest, but he that spake unto him,\par\tab {\b Thou art my Son,\par\tab This day have I begotten thee}:
Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith,\par\tab {\b Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not,\par\tab But a body didst thou prepare for me;}
For unto which of the angels said he at any time,\par\tab {\b Thou art my Son,\par\tab This day have I begotten thee}?\par\tab and again,\par\tab {\b I will be to him a Father,\par\tab And he shall be to me a Son}?
Jesus saith unto him, {\cf6 Have I been so long time with you, and dost thou not know me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; how sayest thou, Show us the Father?
He that believeth on him is not judged: he that believeth not hath been judged already, because he hath not believed on the name of the only begotten Son of God.
And he hath said unto me, {\cf6 My grace is sufficient for thee: for {\i my} power is made perfect in weakness.} Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
And she brought forth her firstborn son; and she wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.\par
that God hath fulfilled the same unto our children, in that he raised up Jesus; as also it is written in the second psalm, {\b Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.}
Father, I desire that they also whom thou hast given me be with me where I am, that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, {\cf6 Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end have I been born, and to this end am I come into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.}
