Jehovah, make me to know mine end,\par\tab And the measure of my days, what it is;\par\tab Let me know how frail I am.

But man is born unto trouble,\par\tab As the sparks fly upward.\par

Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem; and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned, that she hath received of Jehovah's hand double for all her sins.\par

For thus hath the Lord said unto me, Within a year, according to the years of a hireling, all the glory of Kedar shall fail;

There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power over the day of death; and there is no discharge in war: neither shall wickedness deliver him that is given to it.\par

And he shall reckon with him that bought him from the year that he sold himself to him unto the year of jubilee: and the price of his sale shall be according unto the number of years; according to the time of a hired servant shall he be with him.

Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith Jehovah, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years.

As a servant that earnestly desireth the shadow,\par\tab And as a hireling that looketh for his wages:

Thou renewest thy witnesses against me,\par\tab And increasest thine indignation upon me:\par\tab Changes and warfare are with me.\par

Man, that is born of a woman,\par\tab Is of few days, and full of trouble.

But now Jehovah hath spoken, saying, Within three years, as the years of a hireling, the glory of Moab shall be brought into contempt, with all his great multitude; and the remnant shall be very small and of no account.\par
