The works of Jehovah are great,\par\tab Sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.

If thou art wise, thou art wise for thyself;\par\tab And if thou scoffest, thou alone shalt bear it.\par

to keep the commandments of Jehovah, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?

Can a man be profitable unto God?\par\tab Surely he that is wise is profitable unto himself.

I will show thee, hear thou me;\par\tab And that which I have seen I will declare

No doubt but ye are the people,\par\tab And wisdom shall die with you.

Thou shalt come to thy grave in a full age,\par\tab Like as a shock of grain cometh in in its season.

Then Job answered and said,

Lo, mine eye hath seen all {\i this},\par\tab Mine ear hath heard and understood it.
