Lay thy hand upon him;\par\tab Remember the battle, and do so no more.

But they were exceedingly afraid, and said, Behold, the two kings stood not before him: how then shall we stand?

And the king of Israel answered and said, Tell him, Let not him that girdeth on his armor boast himself as he that putteth it off.

Canst thou fill his skin with barbed irons,\par\tab Or his head with fish-spears?

Behold, the hope of him is in vain:\par\tab Will not one be cast down even at the sight of him?
