His breath kindleth coals,\par\tab And a flame goeth forth from his mouth.
There went up a smoke out of his nostrils,\par\tab And fire out of his mouth devoured:\par\tab Coals were kindled by it.
Before him went the pestilence,\par\tab And fiery bolts went forth at his feet.
For a Topheth is prepared of old; yea, for the king it is made ready; he hath made it deep and large; the pile thereof is fire and much wood; the breath of Jehovah, like a stream of brimstone, doth kindle it.\par
At the brightness before him his thick clouds passed,\par\tab Hailstones and coals of fire.
Out of his nostrils a smoke goeth,\par\tab As of a boiling pot and {\i burning} rushes.
In his neck abideth strength,\par\tab And terror danceth before him.
The grass withereth, the flower fadeth, because the breath of Jehovah bloweth upon it; surely the people is grass.
