Wherefore lift up the hands that hang down, and the palsied knees;

but I made supplication for thee, that thy faith fail not; and do thou, when once thou hast turned again, establish thy brethren.}

The lips of the righteous feed many;\par\tab But the foolish die for lack of understanding.

{\i But} I would strengthen you with my mouth,\par\tab And the solace of my lips would assuage {\i your grief}.\par

Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for edifying as the need may be, that it may give grace to them that hear.

And there appeared unto him an angel from heaven, strengthening him.

But charge Joshua, and encourage him, and strengthen him; for he shall go over before this people, and he shall cause them to inherit the land which thou shalt see.

The wise in heart shall be called prudent;\par\tab And the sweetness of the lips increaseth learning.

The lips of the wise disperse knowledge;\par\tab But the heart of the foolish {\i doeth} not so.

For I have known him, to the end that he may command his children and his household after him, that they may keep the way of Jehovah, to do righteousness and justice; to the end that Jehovah may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.

Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer each one.\par

and kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with joy: for Jehovah had made them joyful, and had turned the heart of the king of Assyria unto them, to strengthen their hands in the work of the house of God, the God of Israel.\par

Thy words have upholden him that was falling,\par\tab And thou hast made firm the feeble knees.

For when the ear heard {\i me}, then it blessed me;\par\tab And when the eye saw {\i me}, it gave witness unto me:

I was eyes to the blind,\par\tab And feet was I to the lame.

I was a father to the needy:\par\tab And the cause of him that I knew not I searched out.

Unto me men gave ear, and waited,\par\tab And kept silence for my counsel.

In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear thou not; O Zion, let not thy hands be slack.
