Then the king's countenance was changed in him, and his thoughts troubled him; and the joints of his loins were loosed, and his knees smote one against another.
and they shall be dismayed; pangs and sorrows shall take hold {\i of them}; they shall be in pain as a woman in travail: they shall look in amazement one at another; their faces {\i shall be} faces of flame.
It stood still, but I could not discern the appearance thereof;\par\tab A form was before mine eyes:\par\tab {\i There was} silence, and I heard a voice, {\i saying},
And he said unto me, O Daniel, thou man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright; for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling.
