Doth God pervert justice?\par\tab Or doth the Almighty pervert righteousness?

in whom also we were made a heritage, having been foreordained according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his will;

For {\b who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?}

but after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up for thyself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;

Therefore hearken unto me, ye men of understanding:\par\tab Far be it from God, that he should do wickedness,\par\tab And from the Almighty, that he should commit iniquity.

What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid.

But if our unrighteousness commendeth the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who visiteth with wrath? (I speak after the manner of men.)

Wilt thou even annul my judgment?\par\tab Wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be justified?

The Rock, his work is perfect; For all his ways are justice: A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, Just and right is he.

Shall any teach God knowledge,\par\tab Seeing he judgeth those that are high?

Yea, of a surety, God will not do wickedly,\par\tab Neither will the Almighty pervert justice.
