My words {\i shall utter} the uprightness of my heart;\par\tab And that which my lips know they shall speak sincerely.
Surely my lips shall not speak uprighteousness,\par\tab Neither shall my tongue utter deceit.
There is gold, and abundance of rubies;\par\tab But the lips of knowledge are a precious jewel.
The lips of the wise disperse knowledge;\par\tab But the heart of the foolish {\i doeth} not so.
The tongue of the wise uttereth knowledge aright;\par\tab But the mouth of fools poureth out folly.
Who is this that darkeneth counsel\par\tab By words without knowledge?
Should a wise man make answer with vain knowledge,\par\tab And fill himself with the east wind?
Now therefore be pleased to look upon me;\par\tab For surely I shall not lie to your face.
Behold now, I have opened my mouth;\par\tab My tongue hath spoken in my mouth.
Let me not, I pray you, respect any man's person;\par\tab Neither will I give flattering titles unto any man.
For I know not to give flattering titles;\par\tab {\i Else} would my Maker soon take me away.\par
For I give you good doctrine;\par\tab Forsake ye not my law.
