The secret things belong unto Jehovah our God; but the things that are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.

Howbeit the firm foundation of God standeth, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his: and, Let every one that nameth the name of the Lord depart from unrighteousness.

Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;

{\b And let him turn away from evil, and do good;\par\tab Let him seek peace, and pursue it.}

And Ahab called Obadiah, who was over the household. (Now Obadiah feared Jehovah greatly:

There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and turned away from evil.

But where shall wisdom be found?\par\tab And where is the place of understanding?

Whence then cometh wisdom?\par\tab And where is the place of understanding?

Then did he see it, and declare it;\par\tab He established it, yea, and searched it out.

A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil;\par\tab But the fool beareth himself insolently, and is confident.

He that chastiseth the nations, shall not he correct,\par\tab {\i Even} he that teacheth man knowledge?

The fear of Jehovah is to hate evil:\par\tab Pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way,\par\tab And the perverse mouth, do I hate.

By mercy and truth iniquity is atoned for;\par\tab And by the fear of Jehovah men depart from evil.
