How hast thou counselled him that hath no wisdom,\par\tab And plentifully declared sound knowledge!
For I shrank not from declaring unto you the whole counsel of God.
how I shrank not from declaring unto you anything that was profitable, and teaching you publicly, and from house to house,
Who is this that darkeneth counsel\par\tab By words without knowledge?
If not, hearken thou unto me:\par\tab Hold thy peace, and I will teach thee wisdom.\par
My words {\i shall utter} the uprightness of my heart;\par\tab And that which my lips know they shall speak sincerely.
But as for you all, come on now again;\par\tab And I shall not find a wise man among you.
Oh that ye would altogether hold your peace!\par\tab And it would be your wisdom.
But I have understanding as well as you;\par\tab I am not inferior to you:\par\tab Yea, who knoweth not such things as these?
Is it not that I have no help in me,\par\tab And that wisdom is driven quite from me?\par
How hast thou helped him that is without power!\par\tab How hast thou saved the arm that hath no strength!
To whom hast thou uttered words?\par\tab And whose spirit came forth from thee?
No doubt but ye are the people,\par\tab And wisdom shall die with you.
