Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith Jehovah, and thy Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.

But I am a worm, and no man;\par\tab A reproach of men, and despised of the people.

What is man, that thou shouldest magnify him,\par\tab And that thou shouldest set thy mind upon him,

How much more them that dwell in houses of clay,\par\tab Whose foundation is in the dust,\par\tab Who are crushed before the moth!

And Abraham answered and said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord, who am but dust and ashes:

If I have said to corruption, Thou art my father;\par\tab To the worm, {\i Thou art} my mother, and my sister;
