Surely there are mockers with me,\par\tab And mine eye dwelleth upon their provocation.\par
My friends scoff at me:\par\tab {\i But} mine eye poureth out tears unto God,
I am as one that is a laughing-stock to his neighbor,\par\tab I who called upon God, and he answered:\par\tab The just, the perfect man is a laughing-stock.

Should thy boastings make men hold their peace?\par\tab And when thou mockest, shall no man make thee ashamed?
But he hath made me a byword of the people;\par\tab And they spit in my face.
Behold, all ye yourselves have seen it;\par\tab Why then are ye become altogether vain?\par
