Their tongue is a deadly arrow; it speaketh deceit: one speaketh peaceably to his neighbor with his mouth, but in his heart he layeth wait for him.

If any man thinketh himself to be religious, while he bridleth not his tongue but deceiveth his heart, this man's religion is vain.

The good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and the evil {\i man} out of the evil {\i treasure} bringeth forth that which is evil: for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.\par

Yea, thou doest away with fear,\par\tab And hinderest devotion before God.

Is not thy wickedness great?\par\tab Neither is there any end to thine iniquities.

So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.

Then was kindled the wrath of Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the family of Ram: against Job was his wrath kindled, because he justified himself rather than God.
